In February 2023, Happynus Store stepped into its very first event — Curious: The Carnival, a flea market at the Institute of Palliative Medicine (IPM), inside Government Medical College, Calicut.

Suhair, the founder, and his friend Bilal, who runs a small bag store, split a single stall by pooling in ₹5,000 each. 

There were no spotlights, no grand displays or a big plan, just a table, a few handmade journals, and the hope that someone would stop, feel the pages, and connect!

And they did.

People came by - curious, kind, and full of stories. Some picked up a journal, others just shared a smile. That weekend showed us something simple and powerful: what we create makes sense when it reaches real hands.

Suhair, along with his friend Uthara and brother Jasir, managed everything - from sales and decorating to accounts, loading, and unloading. There was no one else from outside.

It wasn’t just the start of our flea market journey. It was the start of believing in what Happynus could be.
